Etshop has two features that make competitor analysis easy. First is the Etsy Store Library that lets you find the stores that are killing it with their sales. You can enter any keyword you want, and the tool will give you a list of stores that sell the products and have attractive sales growth.
Since you already know these stores are doing well, you can analyze their stats and use that to inform your own Etsy marketing strategy.
Second is the Store Analyzer, which gives you a detailed look into the stats of a particular store. You can see their total sales, reviews, products, and their review rate at a glance. Additionally, you can also inspect the products they sell.
